Shipping costs are as follows:
All orders are posted through the South African Post Office as an ordinary parcel. Couriers services can be used at an additional fee.
Shipping costs depends on the weight and volume of the item/s ordered. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
Insurance costs are not included in the price paid. If insurance is needed for shipping, an additional 3% of the value of order can be paid. The client must let us know of any insurance is to be added for shipping else none will be paid for.
Orders in South Africa:
We ship to all towns inside South Africa, if your town is not listed just contact us so that we can add your town.
Orders outside South Africa:
We do ship to some international destinations, contact us first to find out if we ship to your country.
Shipping Policy:
Products are usually dispatched from our offices between one and seven working days after payment has been confirmed, it sometimes can take up to 14 days, if this is the case we will communicate this to you. Payment confirmation usually takes less than 24 hours for EFTs, although this does differ depending on which banks are involved. Shipping speeds depend on stock levels and shipping method chosen. Shipping times are an estimate and are not guaranteed. Outlying areas may experience delayed shipping. If a delivery is delayed for any reason, the customer will be contacted via email.
Should a product not arrive or arrive damaged, please contact the service provider of the transport service in question, not 3S Technology. The service provider is liable to provide you with the delivery service, 3S technology will not be liable for late deliveries or damaged items.
Should a product not be immediately available, the customer will be contacted and given the option of a refund or placing a back order for the product. Because we strive to offer a wide range of products to the community, including unusual and hard to source products, some of our products have a lead time before the order can be shipped. Orders that include custom built computers will take longer. We also test all out equipment to make sure little or no D.O.As occurs.
Returns Policy (non-faulty products):
If a client is not satisfied with a purchase, it can be returned within seven days of the delivery for a refund, less the shipping costs, a 20% re-stocking fee will be charged. Additionally, goods need to be returned in a resalable condition.
Software and consumables can not be returned.
All products being shipped back to 3S Technology must be repackaged into their original packaging. Should a product be damaged while being shipped to our offices 3S Technology will not be liable for the damages. We therefore recommend that you insure your products when shipping them back to us, and make sure that they are properly packaged.
Returns / Warranty Policy (faulty products):
Due to the mass production effect it does happen sometimes that products are faulty and we understand the frustration behind this.
- All products are covered by the original manufacturers warranty.
- Should you have a product that has failed during the warranty period, please contact us to begin the RMA process.
Shipping costs to 3S Technology are for the account of the client. Costs to return the warranty repaired item to the client will be covered by 3S Technology.
